This is a wine scroller built for the Wynns wines website. It is one of a few standalone Flash pieces embedded in the mostly HTML site. The scroller acts as a gateway to each of the individual wine pages. The brief called for the wines to be displayed in a way which emphasized the premium nature of the brand.
The scroller makes use of Flash 10’s 3D API to give the bottles the appearance of existing in a 3D environment. Having the bottles follow a defined path in 3D while remaining centered was a challenge at first which I quickly solved by building the solution in 2D and then translating it to 3D.
